O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to quash First Information Report registered in Crime No.358 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 188, 269, 270, 279 of I.P.C and Section 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act, 1987 and Sections 134, 135 of Tamil Nadu Public Health Act, 1939 and Sections 51, 60 of Disaster Management Act, 2005, on the file of the first respondent police.

2.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.A.P.G.Ohm Chairma Prabhu, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that a case in Crime No.358 of 2020 which required to be quashed, the first respondent police herein completed the investigation and submitted a final report for approval.

3.The submission made by the learned Government Advocate is recorded. However, the first respondent police is directed to file a final report before the court concerned within a period of two weeks and thereafter, the petitioners at liberty to challenge the final report to be filed in Crime No. 358 of 2020. 4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is 2/3

disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
