O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner on the complaint given by one Sorimuthu.

2.According to the Petitioner, there is a civil dispute between the Petitioner and the 3rd Respondent. Based on the same, 3rd Respondent lodged a false complaint against the Petitioner. The 2nd Respondent frequently called the Petitioner for enquiry. Therefore, the petitioner has sent a representation, but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the 3rd Respondent, they have called the Petitioner for enquiry. Similarly, the Petitioner has also lodged a complaint against the 3rd Respondent and only for enquiry purpose, they have called the Petitioner. Apart from that, they have not harassed the Petitioner. They have registered a case against the Petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent and the same are pending. Hence, this petition is liable to be dismissed. 2/4

4.Considering the prayer sought for by the Petitioner and recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the cases have been registered against the Petitioner and the 3rd Respondent, based on the complaint and counter-complaint and apart from that, they have not harassed the petitioner and hence, this petition stands closed.
