: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records in detention order passed in C.No.42/Detention/C.P.O/T.C/2018, dated 19.09.2018, on the file of the second respondent herein and set aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's son namely Maharaja, S/o.Marimuthu, male, aged 28 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records connected with

the detention order of the respondent No.2 in C.No.42/Detention/C.P.O/T.C/2018, dated 19.09.2018 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name Maharaja, son of Marimuthu, aged about 28 years, now being confined at Tiruchirappalli Central Prison, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

2. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a copy of the order in G.O.Rt.No.4901, Home Prohibition & Excise (XV) Department, dated 07.11.2018, revoking the detention by the Advisory Board.

3. In view of the order, dated 07.11.2018, nothing survives for adjudication in the Habeas Corpus Petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
