ORDER

This writ petition lies in a narrow compass. The petitioner registered his name in the Employment Exchange Office in Virudhunagar District. His name was sponsored by the Employment Exchange for the post of sweeper in the second respondent Office. Thereafter, the second respondent sent an interview letter dated 16.12.2014 to appear for interview on 24.12.2014. Accordingly, he appeared for interview on 24.12.2014, but till now the result of the interview is not known. The petitioner made a representation dated 21.09.2015 to the District Collector, Virudhunagar District to consider his claim for the post of sweeper based on the interview attended by him on 24.12.2014. Thereafter, he has filed this writ petition to consider him for the post of sweeper based on the interview held on 24.12.2014.

2.At the time of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a direction may be issued to the second respondent to inform the petitioner about the result of the selection process, pursuant to the interview that took place on 24.12.2014, within a stipulated period.

3.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4.In view of the limited prayer made, a direction is issued to the second respondent to inform the petitioner about the result of the interview which was held on 24.12.2014 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
