Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to reconstruct the School building of "Mela Nambipuram Panchayath Union Middle School" and consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2015 within the time frame fixed by this Court and upgrade the School.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to reconstruct the school building mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.It is averred in the petition that the school building mentioned in the petition is in a dilapidated condition and there is no safety for students and for the purpose of reconstructing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the same, a representation has been given on 30.10.2015 and the same has not been considered and therefore the present writ petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein. 3.The petitioner has repeatedly contended about the condition of school building and also safety of the students. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has represented that on the basis of present dilapidated condition of school building for constructing a new building, a proposal has been sent to the Government. 5.Considering the divergent contentions putforth on either side, this Court is of the view to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 30.10.2015. With the above observation, this writ petition is liable to be disposed of. 6.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondents are directed to look into the representation dated 30.10.2015 and take appropriate action within a period of one month.
