: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the 2nd respondent's G.O.No.398, dated 19.08.2010, proposed to alienate Kodikulam reservoir (kanmoi) land situated in S.No.56 and 57, Kodikulam, Thallakulam Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, in favour of Anna University and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and against the principles of natural justice, consequently and direct the respondents to seek alternative site for the purpose of construction of Anna University Building and further direct the 3rd respondent to maintain the Kodikulam reservoir (Kanmoi) perfectly as per the laws in force in the State of Tamil Nadu.
