ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to appoint him as 'Market Security'. 2.Learned Additional Government Pleader has produced the status report of the respondents and submitted that interview for the said post was conducted on 28.02.2020. Totally 16 candidates participated in the interview, including the petitioner. Following the communal roster, the post was allocated under open competition (non-priority) and one V.S.Hari Prasad, S/o.Sivaji, has been selected. The said individual has been appointed on 07.09.2020.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition stands closed. If the petitioner is having any grievance, it is always open to him to challenge the appointment in the manner known to law, if so advised. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
