Prayer: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the respondents herein to issue tax receipt for the house property comprised in Sur. No. 257/5B, bearing patta no. 6294 situated at Oruthattu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the representation dated 11.12.2025 within a stipulated time period in accordance with law and pass such other or further orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.

ORDER
The relief sought for in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to issue a house tax receipt in respect of the property comprised in S.No.257/5B, bearing patta no. 6294 situated at Oruthattu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the representation dated 11.12.2025.
2. Heard Mr.G.Vishnuram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.Senthil Ayyanar, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for R1 and R2 and Mr.R.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for R3.
3. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 3rd respondent would submit that the 3rd respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.12.2025 in the manner known to law.
4. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that an inspection has already been conducted by the Tahsildar, and there is no dispute regarding the property in question.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:- i. The representation of the petitioner dated 11.12.2025 shall be considered. Due notice shall be issued to the petitioner or any other interested party and after a thorough enquiry, appropriate orders shall be passed.
ii. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order.
iii. No costs.
