Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to issue survey report to the petitioner relating to the survey of the land undertaken on 25.04.2014 in Survey Nos. 435/1, 2A, 2 B 1, 2 B 2 and 2 C in Thottanuthu Village, Dindigul District.

4. It is seen that the petitioner applied for surveying the above referred land before the competent authority. It is also further seen that based upon the petitioner's request, notice was issued on 25.04.2014 calling upon the parties to appear on 28.04.2014 with relevant documents for surveying the lands.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the said date the survey was conducted and however, till this date the report is not furnished to the petitioner.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents based on instruction submitted that though survey was conducted on the particular date, the report is not furnished to the petitioner in view of the fact that there was bifurcation of the Taluk in the mean time and therefore, the records are to be traced and report has to be issued.

7. Needless to say that on the ground stated by the learned Government Advocate furnishing of the report cannot be delayed any further. Therefore, I direct the competent Tahsildar to issue survey report to the petitioner in pursuant to the survey already taken in respect of the subject matter land within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
