ORDER
The petitioner, who is Accused No.7, has approached this Court that the case, which has been charge sheeted in the year 2003 is still pending trial before the trial Court. Therefore, the Petitioner filed this Petition seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani, to expedite the trial and dispose the case in C.C.No.373 of 2003.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the witnesses 1 to 14 have already been examined in chief by the trial Judge. However, they have not been cross examined by the accused. The case has been posted for further hearing on 08.05.2024.

Considering the fact that the case which has been charge sheeted in the year 2003 is kept pending without progress, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed with a direction to the trial Court to conclude the proceedings in C.C.No.373 of 2003 on day to day basis and dispose the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
