For Respondent : Mr.M.Muthumanikkam, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.14 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 448, 323 and 379 of IPC in Crime No.14 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.This is the second anticipatory bail petition. Earlier, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2435 of 2021 on 01.03.2021. It appears that the petitioner has not complied with the conditions imposed earlier and has also not surrendered before the concerned Magistrate for executing surety bond. Again, the petitioner filed a petition seeking anticipatory bail. This practice cannot be entertained at all. The reason stated by the petitioner for filing second anticipatory bail petition cannot be accepted and therefore, this petition is dismissed as devoid of merits and not maintainable.
