O R D E R

The petitioner, who had served as a Welder Assistant in the establishments of the second and third respondents, is before this Court seeking a direction to the first respondent to grant statutory pension under the Employees' Pension Scheme, along with arrears and interest from the year 2013 onwards, and also to extend ESI medical benefits, as contemplated under the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.

2. The petitioner states that both the employee's and employer's contributions were duly remitted by the third respondent and, therefore, he is entitled to pension under the Employees' Pension Scheme. The petitioner has also submitted a representation dated 04.10.2025 to the first respondent in this regard. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered.

3. Mr. A. Sivasubramanian, learned counsel for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered in accordance with law within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. The said submission is placed on record.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.10.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law, and to pass appropriate orders within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. There shall be no order as to costs.
