Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS directing the 1st Respondent to dispose of the petitioners Appeal petition dated 25.11.2020 pending before him within the time fixed by this Honble Court and direct the respondents to grant patta to the extent of 25 cents properties situated in Survey No. 69/3 Periyapattinam Group, Keelakarai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in favour of the petitioner and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER

The Commissioner of Land Administration was directed to dispose of the petitioner's appeal. Contending that this direction has not been complied with, this Contempt Petition came to be filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate produced a copy of the order dated 01.11.2021 whereby the petitioner has been asked to move the jurisdictional civil Court. Cont.P.(MD)No.815 of 2022 it is open to the petitioner to question the same in the manner known to law.

3. With this liberty to the petitioner, this Contempt Petition is closed.
