The writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to renew the petitioner as Class I Contractor for the year 2018-2019 on the basis of the representation dated 21.06.2018 (wrongly mentioned as 21.07.2018) within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the records carefully.

3. Considering the limited prayer, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.06.2018 for renewal of licence in respect of Class-I Contractor in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
