petition seeking a direction to the trial Court to dispose of CC No.96 of 2020, pending on its file within a stipulated time.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondent and submits that the trial in CC No.96 of 2020 has already been commenced; seven witnesses have been examined so far; the case is posted to 25.06.2024 for examination of PW 8 and PW 9.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aruppukottai to conclude the trial in CC No.96 of 2020, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
