ORDER

The present Civil Revision Petition has been filed for a direction to the Sub Court, Virudhunagar to dispose of the Divorce petition in H.M.O.P.No.144 of 2022.

2. The petitioner has filed H.M.O.P.No.144 of 2022 before the Sub Court, Virudhunagar. The said petition has been filed for dissolving the marriage with the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have arrived at a mutual decision, whereby, the respondent has agreed for divorve by mutual consent subject to the petitioner paying a sum of Rs.60,00,000/- (Rupees Sixty Lakhs only). It is further submitted that a sum of Rs. 30,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty Lakhs only) has already been paid on 12.04.2023 and the balance Rs.30,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty Lakhs only) shall be paid at the time of adducing evidence.

4. The learned counsel for the respondent appears before this Court and confirms the same.

5. The copy of the deed of settlement, dated 12.04.2023 has been produced before this Court and the same is taken on record. 2/4

6. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the Sub Court, Virudhunagar to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.144 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

7. The present Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
