O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner's son and his family members in the name of enquiry without due process of law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that there are three cases, namely Crime No.66 of 2010, Crime No.157 of 2015 and Crime No.30 of 2016, have been registered against Alagarsamy @ Petharaj, who is the son of the petitioner.

4. Only under circumstances, the respondent Police had requested https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ the petitioner to appear for enquiry to disclose about the whereabouts of her son and the respondent Police are directed not to unnecessarily

harass the petitioner, aged about 75 years, just because her son is involved in criminal cases. However, the petitioner shall also co-operate with the respondent Police and inform them, if she has knowledge about the whereabouts of her son.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
