Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records in pursuant to the proceedings of the second respondent in Detention Order in Cr.M.P.No.14 of 2020, dated 9.7.2020 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to produce the Petitioner's husband namely Saravanan, Son of Periyanan, aged 34 years, who is now detained in Central Prison, Trichy before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed challenging the Detention Order passed by the second respondent dated 9.7.2020 in Cr.M.P.No.14 of 2020, wherein, Saravanan, Son of Periyanan, aged 34 years has been detained, branding him as ''Sand Offender'', as contemplated under Section 2(gg) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.541 of 2020 2.Mr.M.Suresh, learned counsel, who is representing the learned counsel on record for the Petitioner would state that the detention order impugned in this Habeas Corpus Petition has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.3631, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XV) Department, dated 04.09.2020.

3.In the light of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
