Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to receive the prescribed fee from the petitioner for conducting Mandagapadi of Arulmighu Subramaniyaswamy Thirukoil, Thiruparankundram in S.No.874/2, Door No.45/1, Sannathi Street, Thiruparankundram, during the Panguni Uthira Festival procession dated 16.03.2017 and 17.03.2017.

JUDGMENT

************* [Judgment of the Court was made T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Mr.RM.Arun Swaminathan, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr.S.Manohar, learned Standing Counsel, who accepts notice for the respondent.

2. By consent, the Writ Appeal is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The present Writ Appeal has been filed challenging the order 14.03.2017, made in W.P.(MD).No.4278 of 2017, whereby and whereunder the prayer sought for by the appellant herein to direct https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondents herein to receive the prescribed fee from him for conducting Mandagapadi of Arulmigu Subramaniyaswamy Thirukoil, Thiruparankundram, during the Panguni Uthira festival procession was negatived.

4. Today, when the Writ Appeal is taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submits that already one Mr.Kanndasan has given the prescribed fee and receipt has also been given to him by the temple and Mandagapadi has been scheduled to be held today [16.03.2017].

5. In the light of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Appeal. Therefore, the Writ Appeal is dismissed. No costs.
