: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to grant 20 days (10.06.2021 to 29.06.2021) emergent Parole leave to the petitioner's father Ramanathan, S/o Chithambaram who has been detaining in Central Prison, Trichy, for attending his daughter (petitioner) marriage and the marriage will be held on 14.06.2021 in bridegroom house at Vannarapettai village, Thanjavur District.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J) The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to grant 20 days (10.06.2021 to 29.06.2021) emergent Parole leave to her father, by name, Ramanathan, S/o Chithambaram, who has been detaining in Central Prison, Trichy, for attending the petitioner's marriage to be held on 14.06.2021.

2.Heard Mr.A.Senthilkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Ravi, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 3.It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State that the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.06.2021, was considered by the second respondent and the Convict Ramanathan was granted leave for a period of six days excluding travel time. A copy of the order dated 03.06.2021 is also placed on record.

4.In the light of the above fact, we are of the opinion that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. Hence, this writ petition is closed.
