O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the case in PRC No.10/15 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mudhukulathur.

2. It is seen that the accused No.10, who is the petitioner herein is facing trial in PRC No.10/2015 . On the petition filed by the coaccused in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.4659 of 2015, this Court quashed the prosecution in PRC No.10 of 2015 on 17.03.2016, on the ground that the parties have arrived at a compromise.

3. In paragraph No.10 of the order dated 17.03.2016 in Crl.O.P. (MD) No.4659 of 2015, this Court has specifically stated as follows: "10.Under such circumstances, considering the nature of allegations and in view of joint memo of compromise, this Court is of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matters pending. Therefore, the entire proceedings in Cr.No.9 of 2015 on the file of the Keelaselvanoor Police Station, Ramanathapuram District, in respect of all the accused, are hereby quashed." (emphasis supplied)

4. Thus, this Court had quashed the prosecution as against all the accused in the case including the petitioners herein and therefore, there is no necessity for the petitioner to file this petition. Recording the same, this petition is closed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
