Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 29.08.2015 preferred by him against the punishment of stoppage of increment for 3 years with cumulative effect imposed by the second respondent in O.Na.Thu.D6/Pon/211 dated 21.09.2010 within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The limited prayer made in the Writ Petition is to dispose of the appeal, dated 29.08.2015 preferred against the minor punishment of stoppage of increment for three years with cumulative effect imposed by the second respondent in the order dated 21.09.2010.

2. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs.
