PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the third respondent herein not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry without due process of law.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to instruct the third respondent herein not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry without due process of law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by one Pappathi, petition enquiry is pending.

4. The petitioner is directed to participate and co-operate in the enquiry and during enquiry, he shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
