This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 2nd respondent herein to register a case on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 20.3.2014 and investigate the same.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and therefore, the case was directed to be posted on 09.06.2016 under the caption "For Dismissal" Even today, neither the petitioner nor his counsel is present in this Court to prosecute the case.

3. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
