ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.101 of 2024 dated 09.03.2024 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that after completion of investigation, the respondent police filed a final report in Crime No.101 of 2024 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

3. Since the prayer sought for in this petition to quash the FIR in Crime No.101 of 2024 and the first respondent has filed a final report, after completion of the investigation and as per FIR, there are some allegations to constitute the offence against the petitioners, it is for the petitioners to challenge the final report in the manner known to law.

4. In view of the above, without issuing notice to the second respondent, recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed preserving the liberty of the petitioners to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, 2/4

if they are aggrieved. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
