RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time granted for executing sureties before the concerned Magistrate for a further period of 15 days in Crl.OP.(MD).No.6535 of 2021 which was allowed on 13.5.2021.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.MAHESWARAN.R, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.M.MUTHUMANIKKAM, Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this court in Crl.O.P(MD)No. 6535 of 2021 dated 13.05.2021, for producing the sureties and for executing the bail bond.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he is affected with corona and he is under self quarantine, hence he is unable to arrange sureties and could not surrender before the concerned Magistrate and execute the bail bond within a stipulated time as ordered by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant further time to execute the sureties.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

CRL MP(MD) No.3906 of 2021 petitioners and also the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation this petition is allowed and the time for producing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as a last chance.
