ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to file the final report before the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai, Ramanathapuram District, in Crime No. 7 of 2020, pending on the file of the respondent police for investigation.
2.The allegation made against the accused in this case is that this petitioner and the first accused / Ananthababu were in love and he gave a false promise to marry her, he made a sexual intercourse with her for several times. As a result, she got pregnant. When she informed the pregnancy to the first accused, initially, he refused to marry her, thereafter, he married her on 10.10.2019 and both were lived at Thondi and at Mimisal village. The petitioner delivered a male child through Cesarean. Now, the first accused and his parents are refusing to take the petitioner into the matrimonial home and therefore, this case came to be registered, on the complaint given by the petitioner, under Sections 498(A) and 506 (i) I.P.C., in Crime No.7 of 2020.
3.The allegation of the petitioner is that though this case was registered on 24.06.2020, no progress has been made in the investigation and sofar, no final report has been filed in this case. Therefore, she filed this petition seeking the aforesaid https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the investigation is in progress and he seeks two months time for completing the investigation and file the final report. 5.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) and also the nature of the offence involved in this case, this Court directs the respondent to complete the investigation within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and file the final report before the Competent Court.
6.With this observation, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
