RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to grant extension of time granted in the order made in Crl.M.P.(MD).No.3766/2023 in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.1938/2023 dt 06.03.2023 on the file of this Honourable Court and thus render justice. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.ANANDAKUMAR N, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.B.THANGA ARAVINDH, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner's surrender and execute sureties in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.3766 of 2023 in Crl.O.P(MD)No.

1938 of 2023 dated 06.03.2023. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, this petition is ordered and the time for surrender by the petitioner before the concerned Court and executing the sureties is extended till 26.04.2023, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand cancelled.

4.It is also seen that as per the direction of this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.1938 of 2023, by order dated 01.02.2023, the petitioner deposited a sum of Rs.30,000/- in favour of the District https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.5876 of 2023 Revenue Officer, Dindigul District, by way of Demand Draft with a covering letter, dated 23.02.2023, and it was encashed by the District Revenue Officer, Dindigul by its letter in Na.Ka.No.691885/2023/K1, dated 27.03.2023, informing about the receipt of the Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.30,000/- and also raised query to on what basis the said amount to be utilized. Therefore, the District Revenue Officer, Dindigul District is hereby directed to spend the said money for public purposes.
