The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to afford police protection to him and his family members for their life and limb. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), who takes notice for

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 20.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
4. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
