O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents no.1 to 3 to give police protection to the petitioner.

2. According to the petitioner, he received life threat from the respondents nos.4 to 10 and thereby, he sent a representation on 07.02.2025 for grant of police protection and the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint on 07.02.2025 as against the respondents no.4 to 10. Based on his complaint, a case in Crime No.17 of 2025 has been registered for the offences under Section 191(2), 296(b), 326(g) and 351(3) of BNSS. Therefore, they already considered the representation of the petitioner.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the respondents no.4 to 10 inclined to pass orders in this petition.

5. According to the petitioner, the respondents no.4 to 10 made life threat to the petitioner and he sent a complaint, but no action was taken. According to the 3rd respondent, already the petitioner sent a complaint against the respondents no.4 to 10 and a case in Crime No.17 of 2025 was registered on 10.02.2025. Therefore, the representation of the petitioner was already considered and nothing survives for further adjudication. However, if the private respondents indulge in criminal activities, they can approach the 3rd respondent by lodging specific complaint in Page No. 3 of 5

accordance with law. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
