O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to expedite the investigation in Cr.No.125 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thanjavur Taluk Police Station and to file the final report.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No. 125 of 2018 and for the same, investigation is almost completed. Hence, he seeks one month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition and the investigation is almost completed in this case and the respondent police also seeks one month time to file final report, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of this order. 2/42/4

4.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
