Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to rectify the mistakes made in the village revenue records in respect of the FMB Sketch and Four Boundaries in Survey Nos. 370/3, 370/4 and 370/5 situated at Madoor Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2023 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner has submitted an application dated 27.02.2023 before the second respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dindigul, requesting him to rectify the mistake made in the revenue records in respect of FMB sketch and four boundaries in Survey Nos. 370/3, 370/4 and 370/5 situated at Madoor Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. Ms.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's application has been forwarded to the District Revenue Officer, Dindigul.

3. In view of the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of. The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh application to the 5th respondent/the District Revenue Officer, Dindigul, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of order. The 5th respondent shall consider the petitioner's application and take a decision in accordance with law, within a period of four months from thereon. No costs.
