6. S.Subburam .... Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records related to the Award passed by the 4th Respondent vide proceedings Ni.A. 01/1-2015-10/SIPCOT/Alaku-3/Block-09 Theerpu No. 05/2022 dated 31.10.2022 and quash the same in so for as the petitioner's land measuring 31 1/4 cents in Survey No.225/6B1 corresponding to Survey No.225/6B1A E.

Kumaralingapuram Village, Sattur Taluk, Virudhunagar District and consequently forbear the Respondents 1 to 4 from interfering with the Petitioner's right, title, possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's said land without following the due procedure under The Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purpose Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999) read with Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30/2013) (RFCTLARR Act, 2013) and upon payment of appropriate compensation and solatium to the writ petitioner in respect of the petitioner's said land, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Pending writ petition, the parties have arrived at amicable settlement and also reduced the terms of settlement by way of a joint compromise memo. The petitioner and the sixth respondent are signatories to the said joint compromise memo.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner and the sixth respondent also affirm the factum of compromise entered into between the parties. In fact, I find that already a payment of Rs.24,50,263/- (Rupees Twenty Four Lakhs Fifty Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty Three only) has been made to the writ petitioner by the sixth respondent and the compromise also records the said payment and resolves all disputes between the petitioner and the sixth respondent.

3. In view of the said joint compromise memo, no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition. 3/5
