PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to call for the records relating to the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.180/Ne.Se.Na&Ka.Thu.Aa/The.Ma/2016, dated 18.04.2016 on the file of the Deputy Commissioner of Police cum Executive Magistrate, Trichy Corporation, the first respondent herein and quash the same. It is seen that this petition has been filed, challenging the show cause notice issued under Section 107 Cr.P.C., asking the petitioners to show cause as to why a bond should not be collected from them for maintaining the breach of peace.

2. Since this is only a show cause notice, this Court is not inclined to quash the entire proceedings of the first respondent. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to appear before the Revenue Authorities with an Advocate of his choice. If they are aggrieved by the orders passed thereafter, it is open to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
