O R D E R

This application is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents No.1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner by considering her representation dated 10.04.2016.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. The petitioner seeks police protection because of the fact that she has entered into an inter religious marriage. In this connection, a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 had been submitted on 10.04.2016. In the representation, it is stated that the petitioner has married a person belonging to the Muslim https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

religion, which was against the wishes of her parents. The marriage is said to have been taken place on 09.03.2016. It is her case that she converted herself to Muslim religion and her parents and her relatives are threatening her to revert back to Hindu religion again and on refusal, her life is facing the risk. Based on these allegations, she has sought for police protection from the respondents.

4. Under such circumstances, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 10.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
