This Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to pass an order to extend the time fixed in the judgment in Crl.R.C.No.205 of 2018 dated 10/09/2018 for the payment of fine of Rs.25,000/- before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Thoothukudi in C.C.NO.57 of 1999 for another two weeks. Revision filed under section 397 read with section 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to call for the records in C.A.No.30 of 2016 dated 23.02.2018 on the file of the First Additional Sessions Judge, Thoothukudi in confirming the judgment of conviction under section 409 IPC and modifying the sentence of 3 years to one and half years and modifying the fine amount of Rs.7,500/- from 10,000/- in C.C.NO.57 of 1999 dated 15.07.2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1 Thoothukudi and allow the revision and acquit the revision petitioner.
ORDER:
This petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and the earlier order of this Court and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.Ramachandran, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.Chandrasekaran, Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for Respondent, the Court made the following order: "The learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks time for two weeks to deposit the fine amount of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in C.C.No.57 of 1999 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Thoothukudi.
2.It is seen that by judgment dated 10.09.2018, the petitioner was directed to pay a fine of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand Only) on or before 10.10.2018. The petitioner has applied for the copy of the Judgment on 11.09.2018 and the copy of Judgment was ready on 15.10.2018. Today the date is 13.12.2018.

3.Hence, the petitioner is directed to deposit the said fine amount of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand Only) in C.C.No.57 of 1999 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Thoothukudi, before 05.00 p.m., on 14.12.2018, and the learned Magistrate is directed to accept the same, if the amount is deposited on or before 14.12.2018 at 5.00 pm.
4.With the above directions, the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of."
