RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time limit granted in Crl.OP.(MD).No.6141 of 2020 dated 12.06.2020 on the file of this Hon'ble Court Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.A.K.AZAGARSAMY, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate (Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 12.06.2020, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6141 of 2020, directed the petitioners to jointly deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/- by way of Demand Draft in favour of the victim within a period of 15 days. According to the petitioners, due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioners were not able to deposit the said amount, within the stipulated time and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and time granted by this Court vide order dated 12.06.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6141 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.
