ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 herein to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, on the basis of his representation dated 17.07.2020.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, dated 17.07.2020, the second respondent herein conducted an enquiry in Ref.No.G7/96/N7PS/2020. He would further submit that during the time of enquiry, though the petitioner was issued with summon, he did not appear before the second respondent police, for enquiry. On the other hand, the third respondent herein appeared before the second respondent police and submitted his explanation. Further, the details of the enquiry reveals the fact that due to business rivalry, the petitioner has given the representation seeking police protection. 3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
