This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to revoke the suspension of the petitioner by considering his representation sent by him on 19.02.2025 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.81 Human Resources Management (N) Department dated 04.08.2022.

2. The petitioner, who is working as Drinking Water Supply Officer at Kollangode Municipality was kept under suspension with effect from 13.02.2025 by the order of the third respondent subsequent to his involvement in a criminal case registered in Crime No.29 of 2025 by Nithiravilai Police Station. As per the petitioner, he sent a representation on 19.02.2025 to the third respondent requesting to revoke the suspension order. 2/5

3. This writ petition is filed on 01.04.2025. It is clear that within 6 days from the date of suspension of the petitioner, he sent a representation to the third respondent to revoke the same and within 40 days from the date of representation, he filed this writ petition complaining the inaction of the third respondent in considering his representation. The petitioner is not clear whether the representation was actually received by the third respondent or not.

4. It is very strange to note that the petitioner submitted representation for revocation of the suspension order within 6 days from the date of the suspension order. In our considered view, this writ petition is premature and it is liable to be dismissed.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. 04.04.2025 NCC:yes/no Index:yes/no Internet:yes/no Sn 3/5
