The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking quashment of the proceedings in Crime No.251 of 2014, pending on the file of the first respondent Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police has submitted that after completion of investigation, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ the respondent Police has closed the case in Crime No.251 of 2014 as

mistake of fact and filed a closure report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Trichy, on 02.01.2015.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this criminal original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
