Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to issue the community certificate mentioning as Schedule Caste Community (SC) in the name of Devandrakulathan to the petitioner's son namely i)Lakshmikandan and ii)Sunilkandan based on the petitioner's representation, dated 11.11.2015, within a time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.,) Heard Mr.D.Anbarasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and carefully perused the materials placed on record.

2. It is seen that the petitioner had applied for issuance of Community Certificate for his two sons, namely, Lakshmikandan and Sunilkandan, by considering his representation, dated 11.11.2015.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that as of now, the procedure has been changed and applications should be submitted online.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to submit application for issuance of Community Certificate online furnishing the full particulars and the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, if it is complete in all respects, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
