This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order, dated 28.04.2022, made in W.P.(MD) No.15220 of 2020.

2. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents made a submission that the order dated 28.04.2022, passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.15220 of 2020, has been implemented and necessary instructions have been given to the Director, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department to settle the monetary benefits to the petitioner. Further, the proposal sent by the Director, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department has also been approved by the Accountant General of Tamil Nadu. Hence, the monetary benefits due to the petitioner will be settled shortly by crediting the amount in the Bank account of the petitioner.

3. Recording the above submission, this contempt petition is closed. However, if there is any failure on the part of the respondents in settling the monetary benefits, the petitioner is at liberty to reopen this contempt petition by filing appropriate application. 08.12.2023 NCC :
