O R D E R

This writ petition is filed against the inaction of the respondents in considering the representation of the petitioner dated 29.03.2025.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she is the second wife of one S.Tamilarasan, who worked as Office Assistant in the District Police Office, Theni. The petitioner's husband was died on 02.08.2023. After his death, the petitioner submitted a representation on 29.03.2025 to the respondents to disburse the monthly pension, gratuity and all monetary benefits of her husband. Aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in considering the same, the present writ petition is filed.

3. Having heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and on perusal of the averments made in the affidavit, this Court is not fully satisfied with the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. However, considering the fact that the relief sought is only with respect to consideration of her representation, in our considered view, it is appropriate and reasonable to dispose of this writ petition at the admission stage with the 2/5

consent of both sides without going into the merits of the case with a direction to the second respondent to examine the representation, dated 29.03.2025 of the petitioner and conduct proper enquiry about the bonafide of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a time to be stipulated herein to meet the ends of justice.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to examine the representation, dated 29.03.2025 of the petitioner and conduct proper enquiry about the bonafide of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
