Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioner pending adjudication of the case in O.S.No.11 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Vilathikulam, Thoothukudi District on the basis of the representation dated 11.06.2020 lodged before the first respondent in person.

O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner herein pending adjudication of the case in O.S.No.11 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Vilathikulam, Thoothukudi District.

2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that on the complaint given by the respondents 3 and 4, the second respondent police initiated an enquiry in C.No.D4/14980/1225/2020. He would further submit that after due enquiry, since the dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 is civil in nature, both of them were advised to approach the Civil Forum for establishing their rights and thereafter, the enquiry has been closed on 11.06.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. It is made clear that now the complaint has been closed, the respondents police shall not call the petitioner in the guise of enquiry and harass him.
