ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotrophic Substances Act,1985, in Crime No.99 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking anticipatory bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police. 3.The case of the prosecution is that on 15.04.2021 at about 12.00 hours, when the defacto complainant along with police party, were engaged in crime prevention, they found the persons having possession of 2 kgs Ganja and the petitioner escaped from the scene of occurrence and arrested the first accused. CRL OP(MD).No.7614 of 2021 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and hence, he seeks anticipatory bail.

5.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Sice) Submitted that this is the second pail petition and he strongly opposed this petition on the ground of the quantum of the contraband seized. 6.Considering the nature and seriousness of the offence alleged and the quantum of the contraband seized and also the fact that there is no change of circumstances since the dismissal of the earlier petition, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
