ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as sole accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 471 IPC r/w Section 21 (1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.257 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State would submit that the contraband involved in this case is six units of sand and it is the large quantity. He further submitted that the petitioner ran away from the place of occurrence and a forged "pass" was also recovered from the vehicle. 4.Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
