PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the block list from online portal of the third respondent in respect of Registration Certificate of Ashok Leyland Light Goods Vehicle bearing Regsitration Number.TN 45 BX 9837 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2022, consequently direct the official respondents to transfer the Vehicle Registration Certificate in favour of the petitioner within time frame fixed by this Court.

The grievance of the petitioner is that his good vehicle bearing Registration Number.TN 45 BX 9837 was block listed by the Department, based on the objections from the Cholamandalam General Insurance Company. Therefore, he filed this writ petition for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to remove the block list. 2/5

2.Today(12.04.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader on the written instructions, which he has received from the Regional Transport Authority submits that by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 17.10.2022, they have already released the petitioner's vehicle from the block list on 20.01.2023 as per their proceedings in R.No.19567/A2/2022.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 12.04.2023 NCC : Yes / No.
