PRAYER:- Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 2nd respondent herein to execute the Non Bailable Warrant pending against one Saravanan S/O.Chinnu in C.C.No.76 of 2008 on the file of the Learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent Police to execute the Non Bailable Warrant issued in CC No.76 of 2008.

2.The respondent Police have filed a status report. In the said status report, it has been mentioned that the proceedings are complete insofar as other accused are concerned and A-2 and A-3 are convicted and A-4 to A-6 were acquitted. Insofar as A-1 is concerned the respondent Police have traced his whereabouts and are taking effective steps to secure him and produce him before the Court which issued NBW.

respondent is directed to execute the NBW against A-1 namely Saravanan and produce him before the appropriate Court, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
