PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.17 of 2024 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against this petitioner in Crime No.17 of 2024 for the offence under Section 387 IPC altered into Section 394 IPC r/w. Section 1/3

25(1)(A) of Arms Act and remanded him into judicial custody on 15.03.2024. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 04.02.2024, at about 5.30 p.m., when the defacto complainant was returning to his house in his two wheeler bearing Reg.No.TN65R 5952, the petitioner along with another person intercepted the defacto complainant, threatened him with knife and robbed his Oppo A77s mobile phone worth about Rs.10,000/-. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is in no way connected with the alleged occurrence. However, he is languishing in jail from 15.03.2024.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes for grant of bail on the ground that the petitioner is having 27 previous cases and most of the cases are similar in nature.

5. Considering the nature of allegation and also considering the antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 2/3
