ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural Adal Padal on 13.04.2023 at about 06.30 p.m., at Sri Manthaiyamman Thirukovil Panguni Urchava Vizha at Solampathy Village, Puthuthamaraipatti, Panchayath, Madurai District by considering my representation dated 05.04.2023.

2. Mr.R.Sureshkumar, learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that because of some rivalry between the two groups, three FIRs have been registered and also submitted that if permission is granted, it will create a law and order problem. He further submitted that the second respondent has received the representation of the writ petitioner and the same is pending for consideration before the concerned competent authority.

4. Considering the above submission, the concerned Competent Authority shall enquire the petitioner as well as the rivallry pary by sending summon and to ascertain the ground situation. Depending upon the out come of the situation, the above said representation may be considered by the competent authority on its own merits within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. 11.04.2023 NCC :
